Mr Khalid Ikram is a top ophthalmic surgeon based in Manchester. Specialising in cataracts surgery and laser refractive surgery, he is currently Director of Manchester Eye Surgery and MECC Ltd t/a Face & Eye Clinic, and serves as Honorary Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (MREH) in addition to his long-standing position of Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.

He gained his MB BS in 1991 from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (University of London), before undertaking further medical training in Southampton, Oxford, and Manchester, where he completed an advanced specialist fellowship in corneal and refractive procedures (this was unique for the UK in that it included both laser vision correction (Excimer laser) and specialized intraocular surgery).

With a great deal of experience and expertise, Mr Ikram is a member of several prominent organisations, including being a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
