Videos of Professor Mark Whiteley
This is a live case of Varicose Veins treatment performed at a press event by Mr Barrie Price of The Whiteley Clinic. Professor Mark Whiteley was with a group of journalists in London, lecturing about the latest research and treatments of varicose veins and leg ulcers and then Mr Barrie Price performed an endovenous laser ablation EVLT live in The Whiteley Clinic in Guildford, which was streamed directly to the London meeting. The device being demonstrated was the new Never Touch Direct Venacure EVLT from Angiodynamics.
Phlebitis is usually due to clot in the superficial veins of the legs. Phlebitis should NOT be treated with antibiotics. Anyone who thinks they have, or have been told that they have, phlebitis MUST have a venous DUPLEX ULTRASOUND scan - otherwise the diagnosis might be wrong and the wrong treatment might be given. See www.phlebitis.co.uk for more information.
