Dr Narayanan Srihari

Professional statement

Dr Narayanan Nair Srihari is a leading consultant clinical oncologist specialising in urology and based in Shrewsbury. His areas of expertise lie in treating urological cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidneys and ureter.

He first graduated in 1989 from the University of Kerala, India before moving to the UK to continue his oncology training. He completed his training and became a fully licensed consultant in 1997. He subsequently entered onto the Specialist Register with the General Medical Council in 2002. He now practices at the Shrewsbury & Telford Hospitals NHS Trust and privately at the Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital.

Aside from his consultancy position, Dr Srihari is a trustee of the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. He contributes his extensive clinical oncology knowledge to the trustee board, helping this charity support cancer services for the people of Shropshire, Telford and Mid Wales.
