Dr Tahira Choudry is a distinguished consultant neurologist who practises at Dementech Neurosciences, a highly esteemed London-based clinic that specialises in neurology, psychology and psychiatry. Dr Choudry specialises in general neurology, with particular expertise in Parkinson's disease and ataxia.
Dr Choudry qualified in medicine from Imperial College London in 2008, having also completed a bachelor’s degree in neurosciences and mental health, with particular focus on tremor syndromes and imaging techniques. She completed further training at a number of leading institutions in London, Newcastle and Oxford, including the John Radcliffe Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurosurgery at Queen’s Square. Dr Choudry has served as a consultant neurologist with the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Throughout her career, she has gained a wealth of experience and expertise in EEG and muscle/nerve biopsy interpretation, as well as the management of headache, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and neuromuscular and neuroinflammatory disorders.
