It is also contains a JACIE accredited, quality assured, haematology transplant unit. The centre is part of HCA Healthcare, home to The Sarah Cannon Research Institute UK (SCRI UK), which works constantly to improve cancer therapies for patients. It is the first and only unit outside of the NHS to offer new anti-cancer drugs in therapeutic clinical trials.
