Mr Livio Di Mascio is a leading orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in upper limb sports injuries, arthroscopic shoulder surgery for impingement and cuff tear, and arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction for instability. Mr Di Mascio graduated from the Royal Free School of Medicine in 1999 and obtained his Fellowship in Surgery in 2004 before working as a trauma fellow at the Royal London Hospital. It was in 2005 that he entered higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics on the prestigious Percival Pott training program and trained in hospitals including Barts, Princess Alexandra Harlow, the Norfolk and Norwich and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Mr Livio completed a year fellowship in the Brisbane upper limb and hand unit, Australia. Here he developed his expertise in upper limb arthroscopic techniques, complex arthroplasty and elective and traumatic disorders of the upper limb. Mr Di Livio currently practices at St Bart’s and Royal London teaching hospital.
