Lung tumours
A lung tumor is formed by a mass of cells and rapidly growing abnormally and multiply within the lung. Always they diagnosed through a chest radiograph and can cause scarring, inflammation, infection or other more serious diseases such as lung cancer. There are two types of tumors: benign, formed by cells very similar to normal and remain in their primary site; and evil, which are uncommon compared with malignant lesions, which are characterized by invasive, serious and metastasize (spread to other areas). To rule out the possibility that the tumor is malignant be made, other than chest radiography, chest tomography and biopsy. The most common benign tumors include bronchial adenomas, hamartomas (90%) and papillomas. All these benign manifestations are operated for surgical removal.
