Chronic pain is widespread in developed countries and could worsen with age in the next 30 years. Chronic neck pain affects between 10 and 24 percent of the population. LLLT uses laser radiation that contributes to tissue repair, relieve pain and stimulate acupuncture points. This therapy is non-invasive, painless and can be easily administered in primary care. The incidence of side effects is low and similar to the placebo.
