Dr Daniel Ghossain is a chartered consultant clinical psychologist based in the London area, specialising in neuropsychological assessment and treatment, cognitive rehabilitation following acquired brain injury, and the management of challenging behaviour in both adults and children. He provides home visits to patients who have suffered an acquired brain injury and and find it difficult to leave their homes. For this reason, Dr Ghossain is available to travel to various locations across the South East. In addition to this service, he provides professional help to his patients' families to help them adjust to their new situation.
Dr Ghossain completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London and received a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology from Glasgow University.
Dr Ghossain provides consultative neuropsychology services for NPsych Ltd and in a private capacity. Dr Ghossain has previously worked for the City and Hackney Psychology Service (NHS), The Stroke Unit at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in London, Re:Cognition Health, Wandsworth CAMHS and the Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and Neurodisability Service.
Dr Ghossain routinely provides neuropsychological assessments, particularly within a medico-legal context. He has a vast amount of experience in medico-legal work, having previously worked as an expert witness in civil litigation and for the Crown Prosecution Service. This experience led him to work with a wide variety of case managers and solicitors.
