Ms Mary Murphy is a leading consultant neurosurgeon based in London, with experience working in some of the capital's finest hospitals for neurosurgery, including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Her wide range of expertise covers many conditions such as brain aneurysms, back pain, neck pain, sciatica, brain tumour, hydrocephalus, and neurovascular problems, to name a few.
At the forefront of her field, she does not shy away from employing the use of the latest techniques and technologies, and is a proficient practitioner of Cyber Knife and Gamma Knife surgery. She has a particular interest in vascular and general neurosurgery. As well as publishing extensively in books and peer-reviewed journals, she has been editor for the journal 'Surgery' and she is also member of the Society of British Neurology Surgeons Council.
