Mr Ali Alhamdani is a highly esteemed London-based consultant bariatric surgeon who currently practises at The London Clinic Hospital, Bupa Cromwell Hospital, as well as The Wellington Hospital. To-date, he has performed over 2,500 bariatric surgery-related procedures and provides the full range of obesity surgical interventions including gastric bypass, gastric band, gastric sleeve and revisional bariatric surgery. He has a zero per cent mortality rate thus far performing all of the above mentioned procedures.
Mr Alhamdani, who is one of London's leading bariatric surgeons. has gained a substantial amount of extensive training in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery in the UK, Europe and America. A surgeon at the forefront of his field, he was one of the pioneers in using the stretta procedure - a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure used to treat GORD (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease). He also provides duodenal ulcer treatment, and is an expert in gastroscopy.
