Mr Donald Adam is an experienced consultant in vascular and endovascular surgery based in Birmingham, Solihull and Sutton Coldfield. He is a pioneer in keyhole vascular treatments and specialises in varicose veins, thread veins, venous insufficiency, foam sclerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and venous surgery.
Mr Adam graduated from the University of Edinburgh and gained extensive training in vascular and endovascular surgery in Edinburgh, Leicester and Adelaide, Australia. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1995 and was then awarded a doctorate in vascular research from the University of Edinburgh.
He offers the full range of assessment and treatments for patients with arterial and venous disease and offers walk-in-walk-out procedures for varicose veins and leg ulcers.
Mr Adam is a council member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland (VSGBI) and a member of the British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET). He is also an author of various publications on varicose veins, leg ulcers and their management.
