Dr Paresh Mehta is a highly revered and experienced senior consultant cardiologist in London, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. He is the current director of both London Cardiac Clinic and Windsor Cardiac Clinic. He is presently practicing at Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor Cardiac Clinic, Spire Thames Valley Hospital, Parkside Private Suite Wexham and The London Bridge Hospital.

He also continues to practice locally at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Mehta's clinical practice covers all aspects of general cardiology including cardiac health screening, angina, arrhythmia, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, syncope and structural heart disease. He possesses a high level of expertise in symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizzy spells and blackouts, amongst many others.

Dr Mehta utilises state-of-the-art cardiovascular investigations including ultrasound, ECG monitoring, CT and MRI imaging techniques in order to make an accurate diagnosis before setting out an individualised treatment and management plan for his patients. He has a specialist interest in heart failure, cardiomyopathy and cardiac rhythm management devices. He regularly performs cardiac procedures including implanting conventional and biventricular pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac loop recorders.

Dr Mehta obtained his first medical qualification in 1999, completing an MBChB at Manchester Medical School. He achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) London, in 2002 and subsequently spent three years in clinical research at Imperial College London and the Royal Brompton Hospital.

He successfully achieved a postgraduate medical doctorate (MD) from the University of London in 2009, for research conducted in the field of heart failure. He returned to specialist training at Harefield, Royal Brompton and St Thomas' Hospitals before appointment as a consultant cardiologist in 2011. He has published an extensive amount of peer-reviewed medical articles and original papers with ongoing research interests in the field of heart failure, arrhythmia and cardiac rhythm management device therapy. He was proud to be elected as Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2015.
