Rajesh Nair is a highly respected consultant urological surgeon who joined Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2017. He specialises in bladder cancer, prostate cancer, benign prostate hyperplasia, urological cancers, blood in urine (haematuria), testicular pain and bladder pain.

Rajesh is a UK-trained urological surgeon who completed his higher specialist training in London, where he achieved the FRCS (Urol.) and FEBU certifications. He successfully finished three advanced fellowship training programmes in robotics, uro-oncology, and reconstructive urology.

Rajesh provides care to patients with various urological malignancies and holds specific expertise in investigating bladder, kidney, and upper tract urothelial cancer. He conducts a wide range of diagnostic and surgical treatments.

Additionally, he has a particular interest in preserving the bladder and kidney for patients with bladder and upper tract urothelial cancers. He possesses expertise in blue-light (photodynamic) cystoscopy and intravesical (treatment into the bladder) treatment strategies.
