Dr Ravi Kamdar is a highly accomplished consultant cardiologist based in London, practising at BMI Shirley Oaks Hospital, London Bridge Hospital, Bupa Cromwell Hospital and Guthrie Clinic. He specialises in cardiac devices, arrhythmia and heart failure, with particular expertise in implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), complex pacemaker therapy and the management of abnormal heart rhythms. He supervises cardiology trainees and undergraduates, contributes to training programmes for the implantation of simple and complex cardiac devices, and established the Cardiac Devices Research Programme at Croydon University Hospital.
