Dr Stefano Bonazzi is a renowned specialist in dermatology and venereology. He has extensive experience and a career dedicated to treatment and research in the field of skin diseases. Currently, he is a dermatologist at "Praxis am Bahnhof" in Rüti-Zürich, Switzerland, a position he has successfully held since 2014,  and also offers e-consultation.
 
His career includes prestigious positions, such as being head of the emergency dermatology department in an outpatient and inpatient clinic in 2013. Prior to this, he served as chief dermatologist at the "Clinica Urgencias Dermatologicas" in Palma de Mallorca from 2010 to 2012 and as the primary dermatologist at the dermatology department of the Spanish Red Cross Hospital, also in Palma de Mallorca, from 2006 to 2012.
 
His contribution to the field of dermatology is not limited to clinical practice, but also extends to consultancy in diverse fields. He worked as a dermatological consultant for major pharmaceutical companies, with assignments related to the health registration of antibiotics in countries in the Middle East and Eastern Europe between 2000 and 2007. Dr Bonazzi also has an academic background, holding the position of professor/ teacher of dermatology and venereology at the School of Nursing in Bologna between 1987 and 1991. During this period, he shared his vast knowledge and experience with students, contributing to the training of professionals in the field of dermatology.
 
His dedication to research is evident through his fellowship in the Department of Dermatology, during which he conducted research and studies using electron microscopy and monoclonal antibodies in skin diseases such as pemphigus, cutaneous lymphomas and mycosis fungoides. He also participated in the first research into AIDS-related conditions at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center in New York in 1984.
 
Dr Bonazzi has demonstrated his versatility in the practice of dermatology, tackling unique challenges such as forensic dermatology, the diagnosis and study of patomimias, as well as the treatment of skin diseases in situations of war and chemical-biological-nuclear danger at the Padua Military Hospital in 1987.
 
His career is marked by numerous contributions in clinical, academic and industrial settings, and his continued commitment to research and education makes him a respected leader in the field of dermatology.
