Mr Daniel Reed is a highly regarded paediatric orthopaedic surgeon and The Portland Hospital. He specialises in club foot, abnormal gait, paediatric orthopaedics, fractures, hip dysplasia and sports injuries.

After graduating from Oxford University Medical School, he pursued general surgical training in Oxford and London, prior to orthopaedic training within the Guys & St. Thomas' rotation. He completed specialised paediatric orthopaedic fellowship training at The Royal London Hospital, followed by a stint at Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland. He assumed the role of a substantive consultant in paediatric orthopaedics at Evelina Childrens' Hospital in 2017 and has held the position of Head of Service since 2020.

Mr. Reed possesses an MSc in Trauma & Orthopaedic Sciences and maintains active research pursuits in paediatric musculoskeletal infection and orthopaedic treatment for children with cerebral palsy. He holds membership in the British Society for Children's Orthopaedic Surgeons (BSCOS), the British Society for Surgery in Cerebral Palsy, and the British Orthopaedic Association. Moreover, he is a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons (England).
