Dr Fareeha Rizvi

Dr Fareeha Rizvi is head of department (clinical lead) and is a highly experienced consultant in diabetes, endocrinology, and general medicine. She has been practicing for over 17 years and has trained all over London and the South East.

Her special interests include the reversal of pre-diabetes and Type 2 diabetes without medication, for which she has developed a unique, signature online course. She is also interested in the management of Type 2 Diabetes in South Asian people and is aware of the cultural and dietary challenges in this group. She is also an expert in endocrine disorders of the pituitary, adrenal, and thyroid glands.

Dr Rizvi, who also possesses an interest and a high level of expertise in women’s health (PCOS, pregnancy, and menopause), successfully completed a BSc at the Queen Mary University of London in 2006, which was followed by an MBBS a year later from the same university. She also gained a masters degree in endocrinology and diabetes in 2018 from the University of London.

Dr Rizvi is currently practicing at Spire London East Hospital. She has regular radio programs and hosts a live, weekly television show called ‘Health Matters’ on Sky 737 where she covers a variety of topics and takes calls from viewers. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and the Endocrine Society, and is involved with many international charities to which she is a regular advisor and active fundraiser.

Dr Rizvi is keen to promote her fully online diabetes reversal programme, which is an online 90-day programme, where she covers diet and lifestyle changes for people with pre-diabetes/newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetes.
