Mr Matthias Radatz is a highly experienced consultant neurosurgeon, currently based at Thornbury Radiosurgery Centre in Sheffield. Mr Radatz received his degree in medicine from the Free University of Berlin in 1991 and underwent specialist training in neurosurgery at the city’s Krankenhaus Neukölln and Sheffield’s Royal Hallamshire Hospital. After travelling 2 hours to meet him, with intense pain and as a self funding patient, he only gave me 5 minutes of his time. Only talked about surgery when clearly I was upset, I just wanted some sort of answers or help. No empathy shown. Instead I left his office crying.
