Dr James Spratt is an internationally renowned consultant cardiologist based in London. He specialises in interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterisation, MRI and CT imaging, coronary angioplasty, and the treatment of hypertension and heart muscle disease.
Dr James Spratt graduated from Manchester and St Andrew's universities and continued his further education and training in Manchester and Edinburgh. He completed a medical doctorate in clinical research and has trained in interventional cardiology at the University Hospital of Geneva.
Dr Spratt has built an international reputation in complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and is one of the most experienced cardiologists in the world who deals with complex coronary disease. He has performed live operative demonstrations internationally and has introduced innovative surgical techniques to help patients with this disease.
He has been working as a leader and educating in this field for more than 10 years, in over 100 hospitals worldwide. He currently leads the complex coronary and academic cardiology intervention services at St George’s Hospital in London.
