Mr Fayad, who is a lead clinician for sleep disorders and current chairman of the ENT department at the Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, impressively performed the first ever breathe implant operation in the UK in 2009. Notably, Mr Fayad was responsible for introducting one of the first multi-disciplinary clinics in the UK (Basildon Hospital) to offer treatment for patients suffering from nasal polyps, asthma, and allergy. He possesses a deep interest in researching potential cures and treatment options for asthma in both adults and children as well as nasal allergic polyps.
