Dr Anshumen Bhagat

Dr Anshumen Bhagat is a highly esteemed GP based in London. With more than 20 years of experience, he specialises in providing a wide range of health and care services, including general GP appointments, blood tests, ECG, women's health, health check-ups, ultrasound, X-rays and cancer screening, amongst many others. Dr Bhagat prioritises fast access private consultations and health screening packages for his patients, ensuring they receive prompt care with expert medical advice. He runs a full diagnostic centre with a cardiac suite, offering echocardiograms and ECGs. In addition, he offers Botox treatments as part of his daily practice. 

Dr Bhagat qualified in medicine from University College London in 2002, before going on to pursue further training, including a diploma from the Faculty of Family Planning and membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2005. In combination with his work as a GP at various NHS practices in London, he undertook a number of senior roles, including clinical commissioning director of Endfield Primary Care Trust and clinical lead with NHS North Central London, amongst others. Dr Bhagat has also completed a masters level diploma in advanced commissioning and University College London Partner’s primary care mental health leadership programme. At the forefront of integrating technology and medicine, Dr Bhagat has served as IT and digital innovation lead with the Endfield Care Network for several years. In 2015, he founded GPDQ (GP Delivered Quickly), a highly respected family medicine practice, dedicated to ensuring quick access to expert medical care. He continues to serve as GPDQ’s chief medical officer in addition to his day to day responsibilities as a revered principal GP, providing wide ranging health and care services. Dr Bhagat sees private patients at GP Medic and the London Diagnostics Centre.

Dr Bhagat is renowned for his outstanding contributions to the medical field, specifically his dedicated work to reduce NHS waiting lists through the use of digital technology, in addition to his raising awareness of the mental health challenges faced by GPs. In recognition of this, he was listed in Pulse magazine’s prestigious ‘Power 50’ list in both 2018 and 2019, and was highlighted as the 20th most influential GP in the UK. Dr Bhagat also holds professional memberships in a number of prominent bodies, including the British Medical Association, the General Medical Council, and the Medical Defence Union.
