Dr Aadarsh Shah is a highly respected consultant dermatologist based in London. He is renowned for his expertise in acne, eczema and psoriasis and also specialises in moles, rosacea and skin cancer.

Dr Shah qualified in medicine from University College London before pursuing further training in dermatology. On completion of his specialist training, he began a highly esteemed fellowship in medical dermatology based at St John’s Institute of Dermatology. He has also attained membership of the Royal College of Physicians dermatology section. Through his work as a consultant dermatologist, Dr Shah has a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of dermatological conditions. He is actively involved in a number of clinical research trials and makes use of a range of innovative forms of treatment in his practice. Dr Shah is also renowned for his holistic approach to dermatological care and sees private patients at the Highgate Hospital and St John & St Elizabeth Hospital in London.

Dr Shah was awarded a certificate of merit by the University College London division of Medical Education for contributions to undergraduate teaching. He has taught on a number of dermatology courses, including at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, the British Association of Dermatology School and for University College London. He additionally regularly shares his expertise at key national and international conferences in the field of dermatology. The excellence of his presentations at such conferences have been recognised with several awards, including ‘best poster’ at the 2018 Emirates Dermatology Society annual meeting and ‘best presentation’ at the Michael Feiwel Clinical Case Meeting of the Royal Society of Medicine in 2019.

Dr Shah is a reviewer for the British Journal of Dermatology and an editor for the Journal of Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Additionally, his own extensive academic contributions appear in peer reviewed academic journals. He is a member of a number of esteemed professional bodies, including the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the Dermatology Clinical Trials Network (UKDCTN), the British Society of Dermatological Surgery (BSDS) and the European Association of Dermatology and Venerology (EADV).
