Dr Kirana Arambage is a highly-skilled consultant gynaecologist and expert in women's health based in Oxford. His private clinics are located at Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital, The Foscote Hospital and John Radcliffe Hospital. Dr Arambage specialises in endometriosis, pelvic pain, advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopic surgery, menstrual disorders, fibroids and ovarian cysts. 

Dr Arambage completed RCOG accredited, specialist training in advanced laparoscopic/hysteroscopic (key-hole surgery) surgery at John Radcliffe Hospital following his postgraduate medical training in the London and Eastern deaneries. He then went on to complete an MSc in advanced gynaecological endoscopy, with merit, based at the University of Surrey.

Alongside his private practice, Dr Arambage works at the BSGE accredited Endometriosis Care and Research Centre (one of the busiest endometriosis centres in the UK) in Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is also an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Oxford.

Dr Arambage is a co-author for the latest Cochrane review of the surgical treatment of endometriosis. He has also co-authored European guidelines on the management of distension media in operative hysteroscopy and the RCOG consent guidelines for laparoscopic surgery. He has written book chapters and has chaired and presented at many national and international conferences. Dr Arambage is a senior member of council on the British Society and the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy
